Slippers everywhere

Lately I have been on a HUGE slipper kick. Sometimes its nice to take a break from character hats and just make a simple pair of slippers. And while this pattern may be simple, it is super comfortable. My son is constantly bringing me both his slippers and my own.
These are the very first pair I made
I think one of the things that I enjoy the most about crocheting (besides the satisfaction I get with each finished piece) is the creativity. While I may not be at the point where I can fully create a pattern, I do love finding new color combinations and making them my own. I love using variegated yarn or brightly colored. The pair I am currently working on is lime green bottoms with black on top. I plan on playing around with more earth tone combinations in the future.

Both slippers pictured were made using Mamachee's "Oma Slippers" pattern.

While I may be new to the blog world, I do have a Facebook page for my crochet. Feel free to check it out at Inspired Creations.
